Tranmere story

English forward Andy Cook began his senior career with Carlisle United and built his reputation in non-League football with Workington, Barrow and Grimsby Town. He joined Tranmere Rovers in 2016 and later played for Walsall and Mansfield Town.

Cook signed for Bradford City in 2021. He won the League Two Golden Boot and was named in the division’s Team of the Season in 2022–23, and joined Grimsby Town on loan for the latter part of the 2025–26 season.
